Job Description
We're a fabrication shop looking for a skilled TIG welder who's comfortable working with aluminum and thrives in an environment where no two days look the same. Projects vary — you'll need to think on your feet, work cleanly, and take ownership of your craft from raw material to finished product.
What you'll be doing
TIG weld aluminum as the primary process — clean, strong, and consistent work is expected
Cut, prep, fit, and finish a wide variety of fabrication projects — scope changes regularly
Read and work from simple blueprints and shop drawings to produce accurate, spec-conforming results
Operate shop equipment including saws, grinders, and other cutting and forming tools safely and accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
What we're looking for:
Proven TIG welding experience, with a strong emphasis on aluminum — you should be able to demonstrate your work
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and shop drawings
Comfort with general fabrication — measuring, layout, cutting, fitting, and finishing
Adaptability — projects vary widely and you'll need to shift gears without missing a beat
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality in every stage of the process
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or alongside a team
Nice to have:
MIG or stick welding as a secondary process
Experience with stainless steel or other non-ferrous materials
Background in custom or one-off fabrication work where problem-solving is part of the job
